KCCK Concert Calendar Submission Guidelines
  • Public submission of events is open to any musician, ensemble or venue in KCCK's broadcast area whose main work is in jazz, blues or some jazz-infused styles of worldbeat or rock. At our discretion, we may also include performance information for some jazz venues in nearby major metropolitan areas, for listeners who may be visiting those communities.
  • All public events must be approved by KCCK's Calendar Administrator. We reserve the right to decline any submission we deem of little interest to our audience or that is inappropriate.
  • Publicly submitted events generally include name of the event and venue. An upgraded listing, with links to maps, ticket info and detailed contact information, is available to KCCK sponsors. Contact us for details.
  • Please use the search function to determine whether the event you are submitting is already on the calendar. KCCK reserves the right to remove duplicate event listings. KCCK is not responsible for the accuracy or timeliness of events submitted by the public.
  • To submit an event, follow the instructions under the "Submit Event" tab on the main calendar page. Generally, your event will be approved within 24 hours of submission, but we encourage you to submit as early as possible.
  • If you believe your event was declined in error (we're pretty knowledgeable about the area music scene, but not perfect), contact the Calendar Administrator and tell us why. If we missed the boat, we'd be happy to reconsider. Otherwise, please keep us in mind for the future. Also, consider other calendars with more wide-ranging listings, such as iowa.com, culturalcorridor.org and iowacitymusic.com.
