Each August KCCK sponsors four free Thursday night concerts at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids. Jazz Under the Stars 2012 marked our 25th year. Performers included The Fez, The Johnny Kilowatt Band featuring Gloria Hardiman,Elsie Parker and The Poor People of Paris, Equilateral and the Farewell Performance of Orquesta Alto Maiz.
Fresh food is cooked on site by Katering Kitchen, treats are available from Dairy Queen and concert-goers can register to win t-shirts, CDs and other prizes.
Jazz Under the Stars is supported by Pat McGrath Chevyland, Collins Community Credit Union, Rockwell Collins, Latta, Harris, Hanon & Penningroth, Shive Hattery Architecture Engineering, Northtowne Cycling & Fitness, West Music and Kirkwood Community College.
