Sustaining Membership
Membership Made Easy!
Supporting Jazz 88.3 KCCK is easy when you become a Sustaining Member. You designate the installment contribution amount to be transferred from your checking or credit card account. It is then electronically deposited into our Jazz 88.3 KCCK account. A record of your contributions will appear on your bank, credit union or credit card statement. As a KCCK Sustaining Member, your gift goes further by: · Providing KCCK with stable source of income to support the programming you value · Eliminating the cost of installment reminder notices · Reducing the cost of processing payments · Decreasing the amount of time needed for on-air fundraising It’s As Easy As 1-2-3:
- Decide how much you want to contribute monthly to KCCK.
- Complete the form at kcck.org/sustainer or give us a call at 800.373.KCCK. Installments can be paid from your checking or savings account at your bank or credit union, or you may use a major credit card.
- Sit back and listen to the jazz. Your installment will be automatically deducted with a record of each transaction appearing on your bank/credit union or credit card statement. Your membership is automatically renewed each year on your membership anniversary date.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I discontinue or change my sustaining pledge? It’s easy to stop, increase, reduce or modify your sustaining membership. Send an email to sustainer@kcck.org with the specific instructions of what you need us to do. Or call 319-398-5446. As long as we receive your request by the 10th of the month, we can make sure any changes take effect with that month’s payment.
Do I have a choice of using either my checking or more savings account? Banks prefer you use a checking account for regular withdraws. We suggest using a checking account.
My company matches charitable gifts. Can I still be a sustainer? It depends on the company. Rockwell Collins, for example does not allow small monthly gifts to qualify for their match. Check with your HR department or contact us. We’ll help you figure it out.
How long does it take for credit card charges or bank/credit union transfers to begin? It takes approximately one month from the time we receive your authorization for your first payment to be transferred from your bank/credit union account or charged to your credit card.
How can I increase my installment amount? If you would like to upgrade at any time, please call Laura at 319-398-5446.
What if I have questions about my bank/credit union or credit card statement? If you have any questions regarding your statement, call us immediately. We will work with you to correct any problems and answer your questions.
Is my contribution still tax-deductible? Yes! We will send you a tax receipt every January stating your total contributions from the previous year and the fair market value of any thank-you gifts you received during that calendar year.
