Christian McBride uncovers a concert from his spiritual big brother, the underrated piano innovator, the late Mulgrew Miller. We’ll hear the bandleader soar with his group, Wingspan, featuring many of Miller’s engrossing compositions from a performance at Dizzy’s Club in New York City. McBride recalls his early days with the pianist and sprinkles in some personal anecdotes.
