Cedar Rapids Opera presents “Cinderella,” performed in English with English subtitles and based on the French opera Cendrillon by Jules Massenet. Abigail Rethwisch (Cinderella), Kate Johnson (Fairy Godmother) and Dennis Jesse (Pandolfe) describe this two and half hour opera as a family friendly, ethereal retelling of the classic tale.
Shows are January 17, 7:30pm and January 19, 2:00pm at Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids.
