Culture Crawl 859 “Study in Erasure”

Julia Jessen is the new Curator at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, and the first two exhibits of her tenure are up now at the Museum. “World Lines” features the work of Adam Rake from Iowa City, and consists of work inspired by and jumping off from historical works. “Surprise!” came about from Julia’s first exploration of the Museum’s permanent collection, and is comprised of unique finds that delighted her and might surprise you, too.

Opening reception for both exhibits on Sept. 28. Each will be up into January. More information at www.crma.org. Find Adam at https://www.facebook.com/adam.rake.5 and on Instagram.
