The 2018 Corridor Jazz Concert

April is Jazz Appreciation Month, where we shine the spotlight on all the great jazz produced by our high school and college ensembles. This week, we present the 2018 Corridor Jazz Concert. It’s the culmination of this year’s Corridor Jazz Project, where the great high school jazz bands along the Creative Corridor partner with professional musicians. They rehearse a chart, record it for a CD, and perform it live for an enthusiastic audience. This year, the bands played at the U of I’s Voxman Hall.
