Three of history’s greatest thinkers find themselves in a locked room and must ransack their philosophies and work in order to escape in “The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens, and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord,” presented by Riverside Theatre.
Director Adam Knight says that writer Scott Carter, executive producer for “Real Time with Bill Maher,” has done with historical figures what he does for the HBO show: put top thinkers in a room together to not only discuss important issues, but be funny. And the play succeeds at both.
Running January 25 – February 10 at Riverside Theatre. More info and tickets at www.riversidetheatre.org.
