Nneena Freelon, 7X Grammy nominee, author, and podcaster (to name a few) chats with Dennis over zoom ahead of the release of her new book, “Beneath the Skin of Sorrow: Improvisations on Loss.” The book comes after her latest album release, “Beneath the Skin,” and offers intimate insights and guidance on navigating grief in the wake of her own grief journey after losing her husband Phil and sister Debbie. Nneena also talks about her podcast, “Great Grief,” which combines storytelling with music to address and discuss the vast landscape that is grief.
