Patriotic week continues on this year for a second round as the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Steve Shanley says that concert goers can expect to hear patriotic pieces outside of the standards including an accompanied reading of the Declaration of Independence. The Wednesday (7/8) concert will be at The History Center in Cedar Rapids and the Sunday (7/12) concert will be at Ellis Park with music set to begin at 7:30pm both nights.
