Ray Vanek has had soliloquies from “Hamlet” memorized since high school. Now, after nearly 25 years of preparation, he takes center stage in portrayal of Shakespeare’s famous character with Iowa City’s Crooked Path Theatre. Director Patrick Du Laney describes a uniquely immersive experience where audience members are seated around the stage, mere feet away from the actors. Expect an intimate atmosphere as together you begin to ponder those bigger questions, ever relevant despite the centuries gone by.
