The Bass Players: Scott LaFaro

He went on to work with Chet Baker, Stan Kenton, Cal Tjader, Ornette Coleman, and Benny Goodman. He was even courted by Miles Davis for his band. But it was his work with Bill Evans that LaFaro found most rewarding. This collaboration led to two landmark albums – Sunday at the Village Vanguard, and Waltz For Debbie.
