Craig’s celebration of Miles Davis’s centennial month continues with an exploration of Miles’s music from his pre-Bitches Brew Columbia recordings. These tracks from 1968 and 1969 feature Dave Holland, Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, Jack DeJohnette, John McLaughlin, and others.

 Iowa jazz legend Bob Washut’s exciting new acoustic Latin combo, Extra Anejo (Spanish for “vintage”), played to a sold-out audience at First Friday Jazz. The Opus Concert Café audience was treated to a high-energy set featuring brand new works.
