The Iowa City Jazz Festival will celebrate its 25th year July 2-4. Jazz giant Charles Lloyd will headline the event. The festival kicks off at 5 p.m. July 2 with the United Jazz Ensemble featuring some of the most talented musicians from City High and West High. Friday’s lineup includes the North Corridor All-Star Jazz Band with talented young musicians from the Corridor. The Iowa City Jazz Festival is a free, three-day event on the University of Iowa campus with the main stage in front of the historic Old Capitol.
