Culture Crawl 836 “Drawn to Iowa in the Middle of July”
Ryan Jeter is the founding sax player of Euforquestra, who moved back to Iowa a few years ago. He has recently formed a new group, Mind@Large, with Jay Foote, a bassist who also recently moved back to Des Moines. The mission of Mind@Large is not only to write and perform their own music, but also to collaborate with many musicians in a variety of genres. First up is Ryan’s Euforquestra brother, Matthew Wright.
Creighton Gaynor’s Natural Talent Music” will present Mind@Large in concert with Kevin Burt and Big Medicine July 22 at the Olympic Southside Theater.
Doors open at 7:00, music at 8:00 with PhDJ spinning a fun selection of Worldbeat tunes.
